TRU is a radical education company that supports teachers offering programs that guide people through expanding their sense of self, exploring ethics, balanced healthy living, value based community, and being fully engaged in the world with positive change. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Before starting TRU she earned degree in Physics from UC Berkeley, worked for Lawrence Berkeley Labs in both the <a href=\"http:\/\/muller.lbl.gov\/\">Physics<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/eesa.lbl.gov\/facilities\/center-for-isotope-geochemistry\/\">Geochemistry<\/a> divisions, with The Space Sciences Lab managing a <a href=\"http:\/\/isi.ssl.berkeley.edu\/\">small telescope arra<\/a>y on Mount Wilson for a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Charles_H._Townes\">Nobel Laureate<\/a>, and left a PhD program in 2009 to pursue the path of self-actualization full time. He is a regular student of Nepalese master painter, Dinesh Charan Shrestha, learning traditional Newar style of Tankha and Paubha painting and has studied Yantra and the painting of Devas in the lineage of Harish Johari in India.<\/p>\n<p>Ekabhumi\u2019s poems and artworks have appeared in several publications, shows and private collections, illustrating Tantra Illuminated by Christopher Wallis (2011), Awakening Shakti (2012) by Sally Kempton, and author of The Shakti Coloring Book: Goddesses, Mandalas, and the Power of Sacred Geometry (2015) and the Bhakti Coloring Book (2017) with Sounds True Publishing. She is a student of the nondual teachings as taught by TKS Desikachar, as they have come through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/markwhitwell\">Mark Whitwell<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>She is the mother of 4 children, stepmom to 2 (Ages 16 to 32) and grandmother.<\/p>\n<p>Christine also writes and performs devotional music, indie folk and blues and has sung at BhaktiFest and many yoga centers. She sings on the album <em>Shyam Lila<\/em> (Adam Bauer, Mantralogy Records, 2014).
